Welcome to Bentley’s Bakery & Café

Bentley’s is located in the center of Danville, Vermont just off US Route #2. Turn right at the blinking light across from the Village Green and you will find us on the right just a few hundred feet down the hill. This is a small town gathering place in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The pace of life here is a little slower and friends and community are an important part of our lives. Friends, neighbors and visitors are welcome to come in and take a break from the stress and vigor of everyday life. You can enjoy great conversations while sampling some treats from our kitchen. We bake everything each morning – so freshness is a certainty. We serve excellent coffee, tea and specialty drinks. Our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming place which you will enjoy and look forward to visiting again. We want you to remember Bentley’s as a place where you experienced not only delicious food, but also as a place where your visit was truly appreciated.

Consider extending your stay in Danville and enjoy the Sunday night summer concerts on the Green which support our library. We also have our farmers market on Wednesday’s which promote the growing local “farm to table” program. Danville conducts the Autumn on the Green the first Sunday of every October where local arts and crafts people from the entire state display and sell their products. The first Saturday in August we host the Town Fair which was founded as an agricultural and social celebration. Danville is home to the longest continuously held Wild Game Supper in November and also the great Vermont Corn Maze which runs from July through October.

We are open Wednesday to Friday from 6:30 am to 1:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm but as we tell all of our friends, the coffee is on well before those opening hours and if the welcome sign is out, please come in, sit down and have a coffee, read the paper and get first choice as the pastries come hot out of the ovens. Our pastry chefs love the company. We do close for our winter break January through March opening up the first Wednesday in April.
